Enquiry privacy notice

Updated 30 October 2026. This notice covers this website and initial business enquiries.

Who is responsible

Governance Intelligence Systems Ltd, company number 17186792, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: enquiries@governanceintelligencesystems.com.

How enquiries work

The website prepares a message in your own email application. It does not submit the enquiry to a website database. You review and send it yourself. If you send an email, we receive the contact details and message you include. Please keep initial enquiries general and do not send client records or sensitive information.

Why we use your details

We use enquiry details to respond, understand the services requested and discuss appropriate next steps. Our basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract where applicable. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Service providers and retention

Our email provider processes messages needed to operate the business mailbox. This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites; hosting providers may process technical information such as your IP address and request logs to deliver and secure the page. We have not added advertising trackers or analytics scripts to the website.

Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact us to ask about or request deletion of your enquiry information.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the address above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Client work

This website is an introduction to GIS. Arrangements for client evidence, confidentiality and service delivery are agreed separately before such information is requested.
